
There was a series of Pullman Era (October 1894) train trestle sabotage in northern Wisconsin. One of these near Heafford Junction north of Tomahawk.
The soo line event is one "crash narrative" based on "[f]our general sources...the first is a public history...second is contemporary newspaper coverage...third is Passenger Conductor Lewis..." and the fourth confessed to the crime.
