Milwaukee Mayor Howitzers
Milwaukee's three Socialist mayors--Emil Seidel (1910-12), Daniel Hoan (1916-40) and Frank Zeidler (1948-60)--were, along with Rep. Victor Berger, known as Sewer Socialists because their patronage was based on building and maintaining civil infrastructure. In the sixty-five years of Democratic mayors and bipartisan governors, the city infrastructure has crumbled.
The 155mm Howitzer is located at the Coloma (WI) Village Park and dedicated to America Legion Post 343.
